Mark Prevost Sr, MD has been practicing in Jasper, Alabama for the past 23 years and has treated patients from all across the State. He completed his undergraduate studies at Oral Roberts University; Medical School at the University of Miami; Orthopedic Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center followed by a Spine Fellowship under world-renowned Robert McGuire MD, past president of AO Foundation.
Dr. Prevost and his wife Sandy relocated to Jasper, Alabama in 2001 with their two young sons, Mark and Matthew. Dr. Prevost has thoroughly enjoyed living and raising a family in Jasper, Alabama, participating in school sports, church activities and family adventures on Smith Lake.
His hobbies include woodworking, boating and spending time with family.

Mark Alan Prevost II, MD, was raised in Jasper, Alabama, and graduated from Walker High School. He then played football at Samford University as a placekicker for a year and later transferred to The University of Alabama, where he continued as a placekicker.
Deciding to focus on schooling, he stepped away from football and completed his bachelor’s degree from The University of Alabama. While in college, he married his high school sweetheart, Anna O’Mary. They then moved to Mobile, Alabama, where he received his Medical Degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He then continued his training in Mobile, where he completed his orthopedic residency at the University of South Alabama.
Finally, he graduated from his spine surgery fellowship at the prestigious Texas Back Institute in Plano, Texas. Together, he and Anna have two children, Mary Ellen and Mark III. He enjoys running half marathons with his wife, golfing, and coaching his kid’s soccer teams. .

Matthew Aaron Prevost, MD grew up in Jasper, Alabama where he graduated from Walker High School. He attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he played tennis and earned his bachelors degree. He went on to complete medical school at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, AL. While there he met his wife Kristen Prevost.
They then moved to Augusta, GA where he completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Prevost then completed his spine fellowship at the prestigious Texas Back Institute in Plano, Texas. Together he and Kristen have one son, Matthew II. Dr. Prevost enjoys spending time with family and friends at the lake, flying, scuba diving, and golf.

Edgar Rojas is a native to the North Georgia mountain region, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Georgia -formerly North Georgia College and State University, a Senior Military College. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, he commissioned as a Distinguished Military Graduate and began his Army Officer career with a deployment to Afghanistan in 2019. After safely returning from deployment, he embarked on the journey to obtain his Masters in Physician Assistant studies at Augusta University. After completing his graduate studies, he began working as a provider in a shock trauma intensive care unit in Augusta, Ga.
While his schooling and military training allowed him to thrive in the fast-paced and critical setting of the Shock Trauma ICU, his long-term goal has always been to work in orthopedic surgery.
Edgar’s commitment to serving others, through his military career and medical profession, is a testament to his unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those around him. He prides himself in being a compassionate and empathetic provider.
As a new transplant to Jasper, Alabama, he’s excited to start a new career and begin a new adventure in Jasper with his wife, Marianne, and the beginnings of their new family.
The two enjoy visiting with friends and family, trying new restaurants, scoping out live music, and spending time with their four pets.

Darcy Mosley is a Jasper native who graduated from Walker High School and completed her bachelor's degree at Auburn University with honors. She then attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
She is board-certified and a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is thankful for the opportunity to be back home serving her community as a spine specialist for the last 19 years, working alongside Dr. Mark Prevost Sr.
When the work week is complete, most of her time is happily spent with her husband, Taylor, watching their three kids compete and perform. She also enjoys spending time outside, hiking, and traveling to new places.
